Objectives are how we will measure the success of the marketing plan once it is implemented
Strategies address how objectives are to be achieved
Tactics are the specific actions, details, and activities that must occur in order for the strategy to succeed and the objective to be met
Get to at least 200 app downloads from students and faculty within the first month post launch
Using word of mouth and social media as a main form of marketing to spread the word about the app and all its uses and benefits
Use campus resources such as clubs or specific majors to advertise and spread the word about the app.
Add advertising about the app in the weekly IUI emails
Continue to increase the number of users monthly by at least 10% within the first year through different outlets
Try to optimize our app in the app store and have it heavily advertised to IU students through there
Prioritize early app users feedback and make changes early when needed to gauge what they like and what they don’t.
Participate in campus events and tabling opportunities
Partner with another healthcare product company and advertise their products on the app while earning a profit through the partnership within two years of launch
Reach out to various reliable companies to tell them about our app (when it is more popular) and advertise their products on the app with links, pictures, etc
Partner with smaller influencers to help with advertisement and marketing.
Use PR tactics to reach out to bloggers or other social media influencers to have them make videos and posts about the app and how to use it
